Our Story
Nooni was founded in 2018 by sisters Hana and Sue Kim. As Korean Americans raised in California, they were heavily influenced by their family’s Korean beauty traditions as well as modern American skincare trends.
Hana and Sue realized that many people were seeking natural alternatives to harsh chemicals found in mainstream skincare products. They saw an opportunity to share the potent but gentle ingredients that their grandmother and mother had used for generations.
The name Nooni comes from the Korean word for “elder sister.” This loving term conveys the brand’s playful, nurturing spirit.
After rigorous research and development, Hana and Sue launched Nooni with a line of fruit-powered skincare made in South Korea. The products combine extracts from apples, lemons, berries, and other nutritious ingredients with Korean botanicals like ginseng root and green tea.
